Raised by a family of benevolent chimpanzees in the heart of the African jungle, Bingo Bongo is now an unusual ape-man endowed with incredible strength and agility. Then, an anthropology expedition captures Bingo Bongo and sends him to Milan, Italy, to study him. But wild animals can't live in captivity. As the rare specimen escapes from his cage and gets lost in the bustling city, Bingo Bongo embarks on a challenging mission to return home. Deeply moved by his plight, kind-hearted anthropologist Laura wants to help him despite knowing that she has her work cut out for her.
