A famous poet and confirmed middle aged bachelor escapes to a resort, to avoid marriage proposals, and there he gets attracted to a teenage girl, who reciprocates, is it love or something else? Where will it end?

Anish Mitra (Uttam) is a foreign returned brilliant engineer, famous poet, acclaimed scholar of music and also a confirmed bachelor avoiding feminine presence in personal life. That isn't appreciated by his father, elder sister, younger brother or sister-in-law. To avoid the meeting-the-girl arranged by them, he escapes to Digha, a sea side resort.There he comes across the students of a girls college, camping there. Of these a girl, Tuku, almost stalks him and he too develops a soft feeling towards her. Tuku's personal life is a mess. Her mother has affair with a close family friend (with whom she had come to Digha), her brother's friend, a rich man's son and a ruffian, has designs on her. She herself, she clearly says it too, isn't what one can call a decent girl. She has developed a deep feeling for Anish and Anish too isn't unaffected. But she is a teenager, and he is more than twice her age. He has to take a call now. And that would depends on how he interprets the situation. Is it love or something else?
