Bijoy Choudhury is a good zamindar. He goes around lending a helping hand to everybody in the town. Every person praises him and loves him. The daughter of the family Laxmi is in love with Mahendra,the son of the zamindar family of the next village and with his family's full support they are all due to get married. Everyone is happy when trouble hits paradise. An intense web of conspiracy is spun and Manhendra fall victim to it. An allegation of raping Mukund's daughter is brought over him. Everyone comes to know about it and is shattered. Mahendra is severely punished. Mahendra is ordered to marry that girl. His and Laxmi's marriage is broken. Bijoy bursts with fury and seek out to get his questions answered. A severe gunfire session later Mahendra dies and starts a severe war in between the families. Laxmi gets the news of Mahendra's death and commits suicide. Bijoy Choudhury is sent into prison for 14 years. After returning back from serving his sentence term he seeks out revenge. The old friendship between the families is again established by marital bonds. The members happily re-unite forgetting the past.
