US businessman abandons his successful company and travels to Bali, Indonesia, to let loose, drink and party with beautiful women. He also starts a video diary. His associate Ellen arrives to convince him to go back.

Successful American businessman (Ben Gazzara), who's suffering from midlife crisis, decides to leave his company to his associates, just as they need him the most, since it's about to become a publicly traded company, and travels to the island of Bali, Indonesia, where he indulges himself in drinking and beautiful women. He also starts making a video diary, where he muses about his life in general and his stay there. His associate Ellen, worried about him and his mental health, arrives to convince him to return to his company, but another burnt out American businessman and his new drinking buddy (Treat Williams) supports his decision.
