A touching comedy introduces us to ordinary soldiers who have taken care of the maintenance of a fake airfield that distracts the enemy's attention. Corporal Tonya is loved by two pilots - Hero of the Soviet Union Kroshkin and French officer Laroshel, who visit the girl between fights.
