When a nurse is found murdered, the doctor she worked for is accused of the crime. A reporter, who's attracted to the doctor's daughter, sets out to prove his innocence.

When Dr. Emil Lanfield is convicted of the murder of his nurse, newspaper-reporter Steve Manninon becomes interested in the doctor's daughter, Elsa, and keeps digging into the case. With the aid of a friend, he gets enough evidence to get a re-trial but before this happens, the doctor's dying wife confesses she shot the nurse in a jealous rage. End of film?
