Set outside of Taos, NM, this homespun documentary chronicles the Beautiful Midden's response to a call for an arts based reclamation of machine space issued by the environmental organization, Amigos Bravos. Located at the end of county Rt 110, the primary sight is an intersection of edges composed of sky, rock, water, wildlife, hikers, trash and an intense concentration of ammunition discharge. Beautiful Midden's artistic inquiry during the first year of the project begin a conversation with the local community, explores personal relationship to place and how those relationships manifest in the landscape.—Anonymous
