Max, a young art director in a famous magazine becomes heartbroken after seeing his girlfriend with another guy when he had just bought the engagement ring to propose for her. He goes mad and drives away from the jewelry shop to the beach where there's a sacred statue and he falls asleep after saying "if I could know what people really feel, I wouldn't have been this hurt."
