The ultimate re-imagining of The Dark Knight story after The Joker's incarceration, and The Batman's disappearance. BATMAN: Under The Dark is an original take focusing on the aftermath of the battle for Gotham's soul.

In continuous chaos, a broken Gotham City remains on the search for The Dark Knight, the alleged murderer of Harvey Dent, as Bruce Wayne persists on taking matters into his own hands against the law. During this period, several unknown tips appear on the GPD's radar, all while Commissioner Jim Gordon struggles to track down the majority of these crimes without the help of either the late DA or the Caped Crusader, forcing him to work outside of jurisdiction, and walking the land of the Batman. In his own vigilantism, the cost of the Commissioner's ways provokes a former enemy to make his "check-mate" move, leaving Bruce to face the consequences of his actions. This series is a continuation of Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Trilogy, minus The Dark Knight Rises.
