Our cameras followed one case all the way to the highest court in the land, the Supreme Court in London. This series reveals a world that many of us have never seen.

In this first episode a mother fights for contact with her children; there's a legal challenge to re-hiring former police officers and a case is heading for court seeking compensation for people living under electricity pylons.

Over 15 months we are given unprecedented access to the barristers, their cases and the court system.
