Sadly, all good things must come to an end, and the ample reward Keti's father offered Pavlaras and Petrakis in Laterna, ftoheia kai filotimo (1955) to bring her back to him, has now run out. Once more, the impecunious duo of portable barrel piano musicians hits the road to eke out an existence, as Pavlaras' already frail health is gradually deteriorating. Under those dire circumstances, more than ever, the two grizzled instrumentalists need their young friends, Keti and Dimitris; however, it's been nearly three long years since they last saw them.
