Dan Phillips was a keen fan of the 1960's horror host "Baron Daemon". He was such a fan, in 1988-1998, he began to hold "Baron Daemon Monster Parties" (until 2014) around Halloween in St. Joseph, Missouri, USA. Many of these parties were recorded on video. In 2012, Phillips began to release short excerpts from these parties under the title of "Baron Daemon Halloween Party Highlights", with Phillips hosting these shows as "Baron Daemon".
