When a yaksha and his lover are cursed to be reborn as humans, they should overcome several hurdles to get united again.

An angel, Mohini, and a Yaksha fall in love in heaven. Indra, the king of heaven, is interested in Mohini but is unable to separate the lovers. He curses them to be born as humans on Earth. The Yaksha, now Balaraju, is brought up by a shepherd and Mohini is found in a field by Kamma Naidu, who names her as Sita. As she grows up, he fears that his wealth will vanish after her marriage and hides her in an isolated tower in a forest. She is attracted to the music played by Balaraju on his flute and remembers the past on seeing him but he is unable to recognize her due to the curse. Their story takes many twists and turns before they finally reunite.
