A struggling, single dad (Alex Meraz) discovers his six year old son suffers from an eye condition that leads to blindness if left untreated. Desperate to save his son's eyesight, he resorts to soliciting help from a shady friend from his drug dealing past. This increasingly treacherous path forces him into the crosshairs of a dangerous dealer named Manny (Zahn McClarnon), who turns out to be more than he bargains for. Things boil to a tipping point when the son goes missing, and Alex is put through a crucible of turmoil that will ultimately open his eyes and teach him to see what matters most.
