Baby is sent to boarding school, friend Suzette will learn singing/dancing. On their way they switch identities. But Baby can't dance and hates the strict regimen of her instructor, while Suzette indulges in the easy life at the school.

Baby, a count's daughter, longs for a stage career, while her best friend, a chorus girl, longs for an education. When Baby's parents find out she has cheated them, they decide to send her to an English boarding school. Her friend's company travel on the same boat.
