After the commercial fishing vessel returned to the port, an Indonesian young fisherman went to the home of the indigenous boat captain and committed a murder. The court-appointed defense attorney, who is also an indigenous person from the same fishing port, was assigned to defend the young fisherman. The defense attorney, along with a young substitute military service member (son of a judge) and a young Indonesian woman who came to Taiwan to work as a domestic helper, is tirelessly working to save the Indonesian fisherman from facing the death penalty.
