On their journey to Rameswaram, a family from North India gets involved in a series of mishaps until a stranger decides to help them out

A four member family from Ayodhya, headed by conservative, religious patriarch, Balram, his wife Janaki, daughter Shivani and son Sonu goes on a spiritual trip to Rameswaram. Things get complicated when Janki dies in an accident and the two kids endures at the hands of their fervently devout father.
