Julius is an eloquent young museum guard who is very popular with his colleagues and friends. He captivates people with his charm, his many fascinating stories and his light-heartedness. One day, he invites his colleagues on a sailing trip on his aristocratic family's boat which he has often told them about. But the mood changes. Julius is not who he claims to be. His girlfriend Marie also realizes in the course of the story that she does not know who he really is.
