A woman responsible for her mother and 7 siblings faces challenges after marrying a widower with 6 children.

After the passing of her father, Parvati is the only earner in her impoverished family of 8 persons, including her mother, 6 sisters - one of whom, Kamla, is mute; and a brother, Suresh, who is studying in medical college.
