A magazine centerfold overdoses on a beauty-enhancement drug and grows 60 feet tall.
Among the finalists for "Centerfold Of The Year" are Angel and her spiteful rival Betty. However, no one is aware of Angel's involvement in a secret medical beauty enhancement program headed by Dr. Lindstrom. Desperate to win, Angel overdoses on Lindstrom's formula, with disastrous results. Soon she has grown to monstrous but shapely proportions, causing all sorts of complications, the most dangerous being Betty's jealousy of Angel's new-found attention. Betty discovers Angel's secret and takes the formula herself, causing her to grow into an equally gorgeous giant. Three young women, each a Plaything of the Month, are now in the running for Plaything of the Year. Betty, the most ambitious of the trio, tries some reverse psychology on Angel and Inga prior to meeting at the publisher's mansion for a photo shoot on a private beach. Angel takes to heart a comment about a shrinking bust-line. She had previously been a trial patient for an experimental beauty enhancement research project. She returns to consult Dr. Lindstrom about some further treatments. He warns her that additional doses could have adverse consequences. In particular, he cautions her to carefully follow proper dosing guidelines, which she proceeds to ignore. After downing four tubes, instead of the recommended single one, her body suddenly shoots to 60-feet tall. The publisher is thrilled about the sensational news value this will bring to his magazine. He erects a tent on the beach in which she can stay when not modeling. Betty, not to be outdone, snoops in Angel's room, discovers the potion, and doses herself with the contents of four tubes, too. She shoots to 60 feet in height. The pair then have a jealous tussle that takes them through downtown Hollywood. Luckily, Dr. Lindstrom has come up with an antidote to his beauty serum that, when sprayed in the air, allows them to shrink back to normal size.—Garon Smith
