Summaries

A historical drama set in Lithuania in 1948, "Au Crépuscule" focuses on Ounté, a 19-year old boy who experiences passion and violence after joining a group of partisans resisting the Soviet occupation.

Farmers Pliaugai live in the homestead and their 18-year-old Unte (Marius Povilas Elijas Martynenko). During the day, the farm is run by strings and partisans appear at night. Pliaugai take care of them as best they can while Unte works as a liaison for the "forest brothers". One day, a noticeable Soviet force rushes over to report to partisans. Men in the nearby swamps suspect betrayal and realize a decisive battle is coming.
