Takaya Todoroki's dreams of becoming an F1 driver are halted when he crashes his self-built car, but a masked man offers him a second chance, and so Takaya takes on the challenge of establishing his talent with the new Katori Motors team.
Takaya Todoroki is a young Japanese amateur racer who hopes to fulfil his dream of becoming a Formula 1 champion one day. An accident in a stock car race temporarily halts his mission as he has to regain his confidence with the help of a mysterious masked man who is convinced of his talent. Misfortune seems to follow him until he finally gets a break by being included to Katori Motors' Monte Carlo Rally team as a third entry. A victory in the rally gets him chosen as the driver for Katori Motors Formula 1 project who take part in their first season as a one-car-team with a unique 8-wheel-car inspired by Todoroki's own design ideas.
