Summaries

This film follows a few men from Albania as they travel to Greece looking for a better life in Athens.

Faced with poverty and violence encircling their homes, Achilleas and Thomas summon up the courage to abandon the snows of Albania. Determined to wipe the slate clean and create a new future for themselves, the two men cross the Greek-Albanian border, heading to Athens' melting pot, the bustling Omonoia Square. But as the impecunious companions cross paths with orphaned 10-year-old Nikos, the dream soon turns into a nightmare filled with prejudice, hunger, and racism.—Nick Riganas
