The story revolves around a girl , whose father is a reputed Professor, and she is in love with one of his co worker, who is poor. She runs away with him, but the guy dumps her and she is left with no place to go. Then a small time political goon stops her from committing suicide and helps her to get back on her feet, also providing a place to stay at his home. He is shown as a man of few words, who believes in might is right, but always does the right thing. He also a few more people staying with him,one women who has a teenage boy.
