The series ANNE, adaptation of the Japanese series MOTHER, tells the story of 7-year-old Melek, ignored and mistreated by her mother, becoming mother/daughter with her teacher Zeynep.

Zeynep is a photographer, but for one day she becomes a substitute teacher and notices the weird actions of a student called Melek. When she investigates, she finds out that Melek's parents mistreat her and make her feel bad, so she kidnaps Melek and starts calling her Turna. When Melek's mother finds out, she takes her away from Zeynep.—Mina
