After stopping the Hunter, Billy the Meerkat and animal friends embark on a new mission to prevent geoengineering and nuclear war initiated by Socrates, who leads African animals against poisonous planes targeting humans and animals.

After the defeat of the Hunter in the first film, Billy the Meerkat and his animal friends are on their second mission to stop geoengineering and nuclear war. Socrates and his other African animals are here to fight back the planes that spray poison on both humans and animals. The new characters in the sequel are Sarah the harbor seal (voiced by Awkwafina), Tiara the Tiger (voiced by Lisa Ortiz), and Waldo the Walrus (voiced by Seth Rogen).—Tommy Boggs
