'Angola Vets Against Drugs' is a brief look at the heartbreaking cost of drug and alcohol abuse as seen through the eyes of incarcerated American veterans. Many of the veterans in Louisiana State Penitentiary (also known as Angola Prison) have suffered from addiction, and it was often a contributing factor in their crimes. A few of these brave vets shared their stories in hopes that others living with drug or alcohol dependency will make different choices and find help.—Mokie Pratt Porter
