Rumi Kizaki failed to enter a university. She enrolls in a nursing program, but she does not want to become a nurse. Rumi believes she wouldn't make a good nurse, because she is not very good with personal relationships. She agonizes over whether to quit nursing school and try to retake the university entrance exam. While she ponders what to do, she continues her training in nursing. While receiving training, Rumi meets new colleagues, her first love and the patients. She discovers new things about herself and decides to become a nurse once and for all.
