Molly accidentally takes a picture of a woman who turns out to be her mother, who abandoned her 14 years ago. She tracks her down, only to find that she has another daughter, and both are connected to a dangerous crime element.

Molly is now a freelance photographer in New York. She runs across a woman at an art show who looks familiar. She goes to Los Angeles to find out that this woman is, in fact, her mother. She also finds out she has a sister. The reunion is short-lived when her mother calls her to tell her that her sister is in danger; later, she gets killed in an explosion. To try to find her sister, Molly must once again become Angel.—Mike Leon
