As a young hero goes to battle with flying dinosaurs, he also must face his own internal monsters.

Pedring is a young boy who longs for his American father and is desperate to escape from his abusive stepfather. Pedring finds comfort in the wilderness with his Aeta friends. He discovers an egg that was spewed out of Mount Pinatubo's eruption. The egg soon hatches a baby creature and goes on to grow into a giant pterodactyl-like being who becomes Pedring's best friend, whom he names Bulkan. Together they go through exciting adventures helping and defending people in need.
