Four girlfriends from different social classes experience what's it like being 20 - working and studying, falling in love, getting drugs or fighting a terminal illness.
Jimena De la O, the daughter of the richest man in Mexico is a troubled teen along with her best friend Ofelia, the two despise others who are not at their socioeconomical level, and live a fast, wild life, but then comes Laura, a middle class girl that teaches them that money, and status isn't everything, then there's Nayeli, the cook at the De la O's residence that longs for Jimena's acceptance as a person, and into her group with big dreams of becoming a Hollywood star.
