Detective Lazarus is summoned to the Adepitan Dynasty to investigate the case of his wife's missing family heirloom. As he begins his investigation, one too many near death experiences open his eyes to the fact that his life may be in danger. Detective Lazarus is conflicted by the desire to quit the case and save his own life and the knowledge that the more dangerous it becomes, the closer he gets to finding who took it.
