A young woman who lost her mother to cancer when she was nine years old, now 28 years old, Amanda is forced to deal with the unresolved trauma of her mother's death.

Amanda, a young painter who lost her mother to cancer when she was only 9 years old, has carried this trauma her entire life. As she prepares to submit her art collection for curation in a local gallery, Amanda also finds the hint of love in a guy, Pharrell, a regular in her favorite coffee shop. Finally experiencing joy and placing her past in the past, she's suddenly forced to deal with the trauma she has carried for a life time.
