"Amalia" is a South African drama series about a poet who goes to a small town and commits suicide by overdosing on pain medication. Her husband does not believe that she took her own life. He goes to Meerhof, where all the residents are suspects, to solve the murder. Later, a mysterious woman appears in town and is thought to be Amalia.
