Alpha Book Club is a weekly live book discussion, hosted by Rachel Heine, Hector Navarro, and Maude Garrett. The viewers are encouraged to read a section each week, participate in online chat discussion, and even video chat with the hosts.

Alpha Book Club is an online book club hosted on Geek and Sundry's and Nerdist's joint venture platform, Project Alpha (projectalpha.com). Monthly books are chosen by the viewers on Goodreads. During an episode, the hosts discuss a section of the book, speculate on plot elements, discuss personal stories and autobiographical information related to their experiences in reading each book, and will occasionally have a viewer video chat with the hosts, to participate in the discussion.
