ALONG THE WAY chronicles the struggles of a young musician as he tries to break into the music industry. Torn between the allure of the entertainment industry and the comforts of home, Justin Mazzmaro travels the East Coast in search of his sound. When Justin is signed to Ford Records, he is sent on tour with pop-rocker Emma Wright. As Justin and his girlfriend Scarlet follow their individual dreams, they drift further apart; Justin grows closer to Emma while Scarlet has her sights set on Ridgefield newcomer, Oliver. Brian, CEO of Ford Records and Justin's mentor, extends the tour, and Justin falls prey to the rocker lifestyle. With Justin's immaturity and decreasing drive comes Brian's dwindling patience. Justin's unpredictable behavior makes it unclear whether his path will lead to sold-out stadiums or empty coffee shop shows.—PR
