Conner Matheus must write about, then later find a dangerous criminal. While his best friend Delilah Smith needs to figure out what the strange creature terrorizing the town Is.

Conner Matheus is recovering from the trauma inflicted on him by Dexter Cunningham after he murdered his uncle, but all of a sudden on the 1st of October Dexter breaks out of prison and word of a monster that preys on people gets out, Conner and his friends must look into Dexter's breakout and the supposed monster and if there is any correlation. But by doing that he and his friends are now being hunted by the monster that hides in the hymns of the October wind.
