After their newfound fortune have been tricked away from them by a banker, the three friends must work together to get revenge.

The previously inseparable Nikolai, Ralf and Timo have been split up by the fact that Nikolai has spent a few years at the state's expense. When he gets probation, he turns his back on his former criminal life and starts as a teaching assistant in a kindergarten. When Ralf and Timo - against all odds - succeed in a coup, they no longer need their old friend. But after Nikolai is refused a loan for a new apartment, he manages to persuade Ralf and Timo to put their cash proceeds from the coup as collateral for the apartment.
