Delightfully hilarious, yet mixed with great tenderness and humanism, All About Dad addresses the familiar theme of old world father vs. new world kids with deftness and originality.
The story of a Vietnamese-American family with a loving, but strict Father whose rigid expectations threaten to ruin the ambitions of his children. His son, Ty, is a collegiate who refuses to be the "model minority" his father would like. His daughter, Linh, has kept her fiance's Buddhist background a secret, so as to not offend her Catholic father.
Ty's brother, Dinh, is a sports car enthusiast who has a girlfriend that no one has ever met. Next door neighbor Bill is a Vietnam vet who doesn't like yard work but who gives Ty's father some very sage advice.
