Heli-skiing in Alaska is the ultimate adventure for any avid skier. This short movie is an attempt to convey excitement and enthusiasm for the mountains by giving the skier's point of view of Alaska heli-skiing in 3D. It was shot entirely with two helmet cameras mounted side-by-side to give a stereoscopic effect (depth perception). This movie was created (with some technical support) from start to finish by Gunnar Newquist. Gunnar developed the 3D helmet camera set up, skied the terrain, edited the video, and recorded the soundtrack of Ernesto Lecuona's 'Malaguena' on his home piano.—Anonymous
