Set in Gujarat, the story revolves around two individuals, Prem and Tejaswini who start off in the wrong foot but eventually fall in love with each other.

The show is about a retired don Dharam Singh Rathod, Prem and Tejaswini. Prem Dharam's eldest son, is a non-violent, fun loving boy who worships his father regardless of the circumstances. Tejaswini or Teja is a self-determined girl, passionate about her goals. Born and brought up in in Ankleshwar, a small town near Rajpeepla, she joins a city based college to pursue her dreams. There she meets Prem and after being at loggerheads eventually falls in love with him. But the twist in the tale is Prem's father Dharam's past, which haunts him till date. And this past may ruin Prem and Teja's love story forever.
