The film begins in a Kurdish village where we follow two children living peacefully.

The Boy Who Survived. Aga is a story about a Kurdish child who escaped the Baath regime during the Anfal of his family and village. Aga is also a reminder of the suffering that Kurds have suffered at the hands of their enemies. The story is told to us by the intermediary of a teacher giving a course to his pupils.
