After his plans to commit mutiny in the after life prove inferior, Ramses II of his name, is banished to 21st century earth, cursed for eternity in his mummified corpse, Ramses copes with his drug and alcohol addiction as well as his depression. Filled with regret and plagued by nightmares of his abandoned wife and his fallen empire, he tries to redeem himself with the help of his two new slaves and his childhood companion, a murderous grim reaper with dreams of making it big as a mystery novelist.
