Según Roxi (According to Roxi) is a comedy about a politically incorrect mother. An anti-heroine who classifies the world between friends (the girl who works at her home, the chinese supermarket owners) and enemies (teachers, doctors, the other moms" at her daughters kindergarten and the rest of the world) on a mission to emerge unharmed from the devastating experience of motherhood. Roxi (Julieta Otero) is a working mother, a friend without time for a cup of coffee, a wife without a ring and an overwhelmed woman. Shes neurotic, self-centered and funny, demanding and judgmental, and faces motherhood with useless weapons: sincerity, low tolerance for the child-and-maternal world, paranoia and the utopia of reaching happiness while her 3 year old daughter gets all the viruses that exist and in the meantime she tries not to miss work. She used to be a strong woman, determined, brave and adventurous, but since she became a mother she has turned into a vulnerable, complicated and insecure human being.
