Andronikos Dendrinos, a wealthy middle-aged man, is murdered. His much younger wife is being tried for the murder. The murderer's nephew believes in his aunt's innocence and tries to help her. But the evidence is against it.

Standing trial for poisoning her twice-her-age husband, glacially beautiful Eleonora Dendrinou insists on her innocence. But, in this tangled mess of half-truths and half-baked leads, circumstantial evidence is not enough to prove beyond doubt that Mrs Dendrinou is, indeed, guilty. Under those grave circumstances, Eleonora's young nephew, Andreas, is the only person left willing to prove her innocence and clear her name; however, this is easier said than done. Now, the judge finds himself before a pressing dilemma: is cryptic Eleonora guilty or innocent?—Nick Riganas
