Love is a many beautiful yet dreadful thing - Like, Hate, Gratitude, Passion... The irony of love lies in that it can be the most beautiful experience, but which also embodies painful complications and contradictions, rooting from issues of background & upbringing, nationalities & ethnics. But still, we all crave for Love. Given the irony, is marriage the absolute stamp of love and does love necessarily equate to marriage? The premise of this film builds on the conflicting thoughts that arise when a former partner moves on in life through the rites of marriage, while the other ex-half remains a single self. 'A Wedding' seeks answers from close associates of the filmmaker, in an attempt to dissect the mentality behind the concept of marriage that seems to shower all around his 30 year old self. Are marriage and love always contained together in union, or independent entities simply stringed together by society's pragmatic standards? This is a tongue-in-cheek look into the idea of 'getting married'.—Anonymous
