Summaries

The Special Needs Color Guard of America is the first special needs Color Guard & Dance Program in the world. For the past years they perform as exhibition in Dayton, Ohio, for Winter Guard International World Championships, with the top color guard teams in the World. When they perform there is 'not a dry eye in the house.', making a positive difference in how society views individuals with developmental disabilities. We focus on the outstanding abilities, rather than disabilities. They work with flags, rifles, sabers, and various dance routines to create a moving, beautiful, musical performance. The Special Needs Color Guard continues to 'bridge the gap' between the general and special populations and to show the world how unique, capable and talented they are.—Anonymous
