1951. Drama. Stars, Bonar Colleano, Barbara Kelly, Eva Bartok, and Gina Lollobrigida. When an Englishman leaves America to enlist in the RAF, his grueling combat experiences result in a loss of memory.

An Englishman has been working in the US so long that he now speaks with an American accent. He is drafted into the British Army during World War II but is injured and loses his memory. Because he speaks like an American, the doctors repatriate him to the States where he is housed with a New York family. After the war they all travel throughout Europe, searching for the women he still remembers in the hope of restoring his lost memory.—Steve Crook <[email protected]>

Bob Mitchell, an English citizen and world-traveling circus acrobat, has worked in America so long that he now speaks with an American accent, but he is drafted into the British Army at the outbreak of World War II, but is injured and suffers from amnesia, and can't be identified. Since he speaks with an American accent, he is transferred from the American sector in post-war Berlin to a hospital in the United States. There, he tries to recall his past but the only clue is a string of five bank notes from five European countries, each bearing the signature of a different girl. Lesley, the attractive editor of an American magazine, conceives the circulation-boosting idea of sponsoring his trip back to the five countries in order to re-discover his past. The Rome, Vienna, Berlin, Paris, and London segments of the film were handled by a different director, writer, and crew in each city.—Les Adams <[email protected]>
