A woman is reunited with her estranged brother, unaware that he is an environmental terrorist bent on targeting the new mining company in Nova Scotia.

Olivia lives in a small town in Nova Scotia, Canada along with her son, Thomas, a daughter, Sarah, and has been separated from her French-speaking husband, Jean Marc. She has an estranged brother named Jack Walker who she has not seen for many years, as he refused to return her phone calls, and neglected to attend their father's funeral in Montana, U.S.A.. Due to opening of Cynaco and MacNeil Mining Company, the town expects to have about new 125 new jobs. One day she gets a surprise visit from Jack, both brother and sister update each other, and Jack also gets to meet Thomas and Sarah, as well as Olivia's attractive South Asian neighbor, Lia, a single mother. He soon starts an affair with her, and even moves in her house. What Olivia and Lia do not know that Jack has been labeled an Eco-Terrorist, is on the most wanted list of the FBI, his presence has a negative influence on Thomas, who will soon end up getting arrested, while Jack himself is busy collecting gas cans, and empty milk jugs on a possible project that he may launch against Cynaco and the MacNeil Mining Company, which he feels are polluting Earth.—rAjOo ([email protected])

American Jack Turner is an investigative photojournalist whose work primarily is to expose large corporate incidents of ecological degradation. He makes an unannounced visit to the small Nova Scotia town where his divorced sister Olivia lives, she who he has not seen in years due to a slightly strained relationship between the two stemming from a disagreement concerning their now deceased parents. The source of the disagreement is the reason for Jack's ecological crusading in the first place. Olivia has two children, teen-aged Thomas and adolescent Sarah, with who she shares joint custody with her ex-husband Jean Marc. Thomas, who idolizes the work of his Uncle Jack, believes that he is in town to do an exposé on Cynaco, the new multinational corporate interest in town. Thomas believes Sarah's onset of asthma is due to its plant, and that Jean Marc too will eventually become ill as a Cynaco plant worker who Thomas says always smells like toxic waste. If Jack is indeed doing so, Jean Marc wants him to stop as Cynaco has brought wealth to the town unlike anything it has ever seen. Jack tells Olivia part of the real reason he is in town, the information of which she is not appreciative in its connection specifically to Thomas. But he isn't telling her the entire story, which has a far deeper connection and implication to the entire family, especially as the truth comes to light.
