A Promise is a Promise is a feature length documentary created to pass on the feeling that anything in life is possible. That with the help of good people, impossible dreams can come true. The story takes a look at the journey of Shermet & Musa; two young Kosovar men who survived the 1990's Kosovar genocide and met Canadian Peace keeper CAPT Jonathan Knaul. The young men share their dream about one day becoming pilots. Jonathan promises the young men that he will come back and help them. Filmmaker Jaime Gianopoulos heads on a journey back to Kosovo with Shermet, Musa, and Jonathan to reconnect with the village and to retell the amazing story of hope and inspiration.
